Minutes of the August 2011 Meeting

BFIC Minutes - August 11, 2011.

Members attending: Becky Kuithe, Clyde McKenzie, Rombelto Medrano, Brian Fanguy, Steve Sherman, Pat Morgan Ojobaro Others attending: Jacquelyn Lyons, Belem Sosa

Meeting was called to order @ 7:30 PM Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.

Treasurer's report was presented and accepted.

Old Business: S. Sherman reports that Comcast has lowered monthly rate from $140 to $60/month. This includes phone and internet service ( for survelliance ) However, the phone is not working. R. Medrano will work on problem. A discussion was held re abandoned houses. A resident has posted his concern on our web site. P. Ojobara reports she has been calling City re these empty houses.

New Business: J. Lyons is concerned about her neighbor's house - junk and furniture piled up against side of house - odor is a problem. She was advised to call 311 and report problem. She also reports that when she rented the club house for a private party, there was already trash here. S. Sherman suggested that the prospective renters inspect the property first. C. McKenzie states trash was probably accumulated from pool being open on weekends. He states he will collect the trash. J. Lyons suggests a cleaning service be hired once or twice a year to give the clubhouse a good cleaning. B Sosa has a question about renting clubhouse this coming Sunday after the regular pool hours. She volunteered to come & clean the restrooms if she can come during the week. R. Medrano suggests we need to hire a cleaning crew right after the pool closes for the year. Everyone was reminded that Heavy Trash is next Thursday & this month it includes junk trash as well as tree debris.

Meeting was adjourned @ 8:15 PM.
