Meeting was called to order @ 7:47 PM
W Koonce explained to visitors that we do not currently have a Board President.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
Old Business: W. Koonce reports that the new paralegal that is working with BFIC is doing a good job. The City was called and did come out & clear the vegetation on the adjoining city property. S. Sherman has set up a web site - www.braysforest.org . Ray Stevens has filed a tax return for BFIC to the IRS - no taxes are due. Pool Business: The search for a lifeguard is ongoing. The City of Houston Pool permit does not require a lifeguard. We can expect to pay $15/hr. Pool companies require 2 guards. The pool will open on Sunday, June 3 from 12 PM to 6 PM. R. Medrano & Clyde McKenzie will be present. Pool maintenance each Saturday is $75. Pool registration will be done with the list of our 245 homes. An ad will be put in the Greensheet for a lifeguard. Treasurer's report was presented by B. Fanguy - accepted.
New Business: A visitor raised question of her neighbor's tree touching her house. W. Koonce suggested she call a tree trimmer to talk to neighbor. Calling 311 is also a possibility. M. Fanguy reported about PIP meetings on 3rd Thursdays at Westside Command Center. W. Koonce reported that his home was robbed. They broke through the back fence on the bayou, kicked in the back door, and stole his 40" TV and jewelry. He also reported on an article in the Chronicle about Bellaire West.
