BFIC Minutes - June 11, 2009

Members attending: Becky Kuithe, Clyde McKenzie, Rombelto Medrano, Brian Fanguy, Pat Ojobaro Others attending: Esther Rodriguez, Robertina Chavez, Maria Oberti, Jesus Lopez, Jacquelyn Lyons Meeting was called to order @ 7:40 PM

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. Treasurer's report was presented & accepted.

Old Business: Discussion was held re opening pool 2 days rather than one. One homeowner states her son who is a certified lifeguard might be willing to volunteer his services one of the days. Other homeowners state they would be willing to volunteer their time to sit @ pool to check people in. B. Fanguy states he still has not received certificate from Leslie Pools so that we can get current certification. It was suggested that we charge a fee for guests. This motion was tabled until we see how the first month goes. B. Fanguy received a letter (5-20-09) from lawyer re 4326 Bugle -proceeding with foreclosure. J. Lyons volunteered to handle Splash Day if we decide to have one.

New Business: J. Lyons asked about increase in crime - concerned about overgrown bushes around vacant house on Baneway - advised to call 311. The new wooden fence across the back of our pool has been broken & the chain link fence was again cut. B. Fanguy will repair wooden fence. Problem with fence vandalism discussed. A discussion was held re involving more people in community activities. B. Kuithe reminded everyone re recycling tomorrow and heavy trash next Thursday. B. Fanguy encouraged everyone to call police re any suspicious activity.

Meeting was adjourned @ 8:55 PM.
