BFIC Minutes - March 12, 2009

Members attending: Becky Kuithe, Brian Fanguy, John Bedford, Rombelto Medrano, Rajesh Karee, Pat Ojobara, Clyde McKenzie Others attending: none

Meeting was called to order @ 7:32 PM Minutes of previous meeting were read and accepted. Treasurer's report was presented and accepted.

Old Business: J. Bedford reports that there is a new paralegal at Holt & Young named John Hopkins. Re our lawsuit against A. Bakare - case will go before a judge tomorrow. Luke Tollett is the attorney for Holt & Young who is representing us. The defendant has a new lawyer. J. Bedford reported on the vote to opt into city ordinance re parking on lawns - City is finalizing application which has to be filled out and submitted along with a plat of the subdivision and a copy of the February minutes. J. Bedford gave a report on delinquent accounts and foreclosures. There are many vacant homes in our neighborhood.

Pool Business: A pump refill valve had to be replaced. B. Fanguy has signed a contract with Leslie Pools to replace the 3 drains to meet federal mandates. New Business: B. Fanguy talked to someone re grafitti removal. Someone has already grafittied our new fence. J. Bedford announced he will be resigning shortly as President and Treasurer due to health problems.

Meeting was adjourned @ 8:30 PM.
