W. Koonce nominated J. Bedford to resume office of BFIC President. J. Bedford agreed; the motion was seconded and the vote to reelect J. Bedford was unanimous.

Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. Treasurer's report was presented & accepted.

Old Business: J. Bedford discussed deed restrictions and the homes we continue to have major problems with. A lawsuit has been filed against us by AISD for back taxes on the old MUDD district lot. An unoccupied house on Moonmist has old appliances & abandoned cars sitting out on driveway. J. Bedford has contacted numerous people including Councilman Khan, Mayor White, and TV stations. A city health inspector did come out and post a violation sign stating owner had until 7-10-07 to clean up, but nothing has been done. BFIC has filed a lawsuit against this property. P. Ojobaro reports that she has been charged by dogs running loose in the neighborhood. She did call police and have one dog picked up.

Pool Business: A discussion was held as to whether or not the lifeguard is paid when pool is unable to open due to inclement weather. It was decided that she should be paid if she shows up for duty. C. McKenzie reports that he did check into possibility of opening pool on Saturdays as well as Sundays. Our lifeguard is unavailable for Saturday afternoons so we will continue this year with Sundays only. R. Karee asked about what we can do about illegal parking around the pool. J. Bedford states we can call Precision Collision & have cars towed - ask for Jermaine. It was suggested that we replace the No Parking signs first. They keep getting stolen. B. Fanguy will check out the price of a Lifeguard stand.

New Business: S. Sherman presented plans to add dormer windows to the front of his house. He also states he will complete his driveway to make it into a complete circular driveway. J. Bedford asks that we all call 311 re neighborhood problems. B. Fanguy suggests that we call not only our own councilman, but also the at-large councilmen.

Meeting was adjourned @ 8:55PM
